Mountain Action Network Launches Resort Marketing System

The Mountain Action Network, a growing advertising and content delivery network for the mountain sports industry, has launched a series of enhancements which now provide ski resorts, lodging suppliers, retailers, and gear suppliers with a single interface to place advertising and content across and entire network of targeted web sites.

The Mountain Action Network represents a collaboration, between industry leaders Action Sports Interactive, which operates popular winter sports sites SkiSite.com, RealConditions.com, and ShredSite.com, and the Mountain Sports Club of North America, which operates MountainSportsClub.com. Along with a number of other partnering sites, the Mountain Action Network delivers millions of visitors and page views to a series of highly targeted sites, each focusing on specific segments of the audience.

Launched this past month, these new enhancements enable ski resort owners, retailers, and suppliers to control content syndicated across the entire network while also being able to purchase targeted advertising - all from a single system.

"Resorts have come to us for years complaining about the difficulty and inefficiency in maintaining their brands across the internet. They had to login to 20 different systems, fax another 25 forms, and then use an agency to make targeted buys." said Greg Gantzer, owner of Action Sports Interactive. "With the launch of this new system, not only can they control the information, they can also monitor traffic and track effectiveness - all in one place". The system allows resort owners to control advertising and content for all of their business units, from ticket sales to lodging and retail, across an entire spectrum of targeted sites.

"It’s really all about making it easy to reach a large, targeted audience" said John Siewierski, a 28 year veteran of the mountain sports industry and Mountain Action Network partner.
The new couponing systems that have been added and launched enable the partner to not only drive incremental business but also capture critical customer information such as email and mail address for future marketing and communication efforts.

Mountain Action Network principals and staff will be in attendance at two upcoming shows and events. Arrange a demo and meeting at either The Mountain Travel Symposium in Vail Colorado April 4 – 10, or at the National Ski Areas Association annual meeting and trade show in San Francisco May 28 – May 30.

Ski TV Network Announces Resort Partner Content Upgrade

October 1, 2007 (BOULDER, CO.)---Ski TV Network, a leading national place based media company, announced today an upgraded service offering for their US Ski and Snowboard Resort Partners. This formal announcement comes on the heels of the initial industry communication about the new HD TV national network system launched in the marketplace six weeks ago.

“After announcing our upgraded digital service offering to our current and prospective US Ski Resort partners only six weeks ago, we have received national distribution agreements covering the vast majority of states that make up the Ski industry,” said David Nicholson, Ski TV Network president. “As we look for ways to enhance our TV Network for the benefit of our Resort Partners, we are making available for each resort the opportunity to provide localized TV content to be included in our broadcasts.”

Ski TV Network made the decision to allow individual resorts the opportunity to intergrate their proprietary content into the broadcasts based on the feedback from early adopters of the new technology. Always looking for ways to improve upon the relationships of the Network with Resort operators, company management listened to the feedback from their partners and has instituted this upgrade effective immediately.

“It is very important for Ski TV Network to listen to our Resort partners and work with them to make our Network truly a working partnership,” said David Nicholson, Ski TV Network president. “We are pleased to offer each of our Resort partners the opportunity to integrate local content offerings into our broadcasts which will only enhance each individual resort’s guest experience.”
